Fun in the Sun

I was going through some old photos and came across this one. How much fun is it to be young and worry free, with your only thought was filling your pail in the sandbox. For the most part, the country has had an horrendous winter, and spring has crept in at a very slow pace. We were more fortunate in our area, as we get to celebrate spring with the coming of flowers early in the year. And summer is slowly creeping in with warmer temperatures. Thoughts of having bar-b-cues outside will soon be factual. Meanwhile visits to the garden centres are now in our heads and the gardens are being planted, in anticipation of their summer glory. We may not play in sandboxes anymore, but the lawn chairs will soon be beckoning us to come out and enjoy the sun and garden. I hope you will soon be able to join in this relaxing activity in your own gardens. Happy Spring everyone.
