Blooming.....

I decided to take a walk outside into the yard with my camera, to see if I could find spring. My only regret is I wish I had a little more sophisticated camera to get better images, but I can only do what I can do. But here are some of the things I found out there.

Forsythia in full bloom. In fact I almost missed the opportunity to shoot them. They are almost spent and are dropping their blooms all ready.

Next we have these pretty purple bells, a relative of the Hyacinth family. Aren't they sweet?


And last by not least, my little Lilac tree is budding.


My daffodils made a poor showing. I guess all that cold and snow got to them. I have lots of tulip leaves showing, so I will have to see what they bring. I think I can say that I found spring, finally. However, yesterday we had a hail storm to beat them all. We were caught inside a store and couldn't get to our car. It hurt
out there. It wasn't April Fools Day, but I think Mother Nature is still pulling a fast one over us.
