At the end of October the school had a family night for picture taking. I wasn't too keen on our actual family photo, that DH and I wanted, so I am not posting it, but here's a picture of my mini-me's. Not that they look like me, but they will carry on our family one day with their own mini-me's. One is 10, soon to be 11 and
the younger one is 7 this month. She is just a peanut to her classmates and has the
body of a pretzel, meaning she can contort herself into any shape. The older of the two is having some leg and feet problems, in that she grew so much over the summer, that the muscles have not caught up in her legs and feet. She has always had a pigeon toe effect, but she is waiting for special orthotics to help correct her feet.
Apparently we found out that her leg bone has a curve in it and that's why her toes
point in. Not much they can do for that, but her feet can be corrected so that she
doesn't have the pain in them. Next year she will have to have braces to space her teeth, as she has large teeth and as she grows they will start to crowd in her mouth.
So far they are good, but her adult molars haven't come in yet and that's when the trouble will start.
