Down and Dirty

Well, I promised you a card this weekend and here it is. Am I happy with it, not really. First of all I cased this card from a friend Sonya, who was in a card club
with me. She took a full sized card face and cut it into a puzzle. Before pasting
it back on her card, she coloured the edges of each piece and then stamped her design. I used SU very vanilla and really rust CS. The design is a stamp from SU Carte Postale. My edge colour is a Copic marker in Lt.Orange. The funky brads were part of a boxed embellishment set I got for Christmas. I think I
should have used a deeper colour for the edging, so it is putting me off. Well, I
still wasn't happy with it, so I used Chocolate Chip ink pad to scruffy the salutation piece and I still wasn't happy with it. So, okay, it isn't my favourite card, but what can I do with it. Oh, what the heck, let's make it really down and dirty. So I sponged it all over with chocolate chip but left the salutation card clean. It kinda grows on ya - it's still not my favourite but it works. I'll save it.
