falling on my head in
thunderous emotion.
One minute it was light and bright, and then thunder and lightening and wild winds transformed the street into a wild scene. The dog ran and hid next to
my legs, panting in sheer terror. Fifteen minutes later, it is light and bright again.
I don't think we mortals had any control at that moment. Unfortunately, it is not
helping the flooding situation that is happening in communities around us.
Evacuation notices have been handed out with a one hour time limit, while 27
homes have been flooded with the rising rivers so far. Not a pretty sight and
devestating for those on the losing end of it all.
