Has spring sprung?

We went out shopping today in the brilliant sunshine. I took my camera to see if I
could capture the mountains surrounding us. Wouldn't you know it, we never hit one
red light. So these two photos are caught on the run from inside the car. We see the mountains south of us with a beautiful view of Mount Baker, which is actually just across the line in the USA, and then they come northward and surround the city
on their way up the Canyon and into the Rockies. I wish I had taken my camera two days ago, because the air was crystal clear and the peaks were sparkling with new fallen snow. As you can see we do not have snow and I like it that way. But it is only the first of the month, so anything is possible before March comes in.
