Birthday Treats

Well, I hooked up my new flatscreen that I got for my birthday, and it is taking some time to adjust to the new look. My old monitor was more on the square side and
this elongated version is a little weird. Plus I still have to go through my tutorial on how to set it up to my liking. But being Christmas Eve I am not in the mood for maintenance programs, so it can stay this way until next week when I have more time to play with it. I wish they gave you a manual on how to do things rather than a CD. My memory isn't what it used to be, so unless I write it down, I forget the steps of the set up procedure. Kind of a nuisance, for me anyway. But I won't
spend a lot of time here with you tonight, as hubby and I are going to watch some TV and enjoy some coffee and goodies, while we wait for the man with the red suit to appear. Wishful thinking on my part eh? He doesn't come until you are asleep.
Smart little grd-dtr I have. She said to me yesterday, "Nana, when people come to the door, Charlee (cocker spaniel) always barks. If she does that when Santa comes,
he won't come in." No fear T. For some reason Santa has a special bond for animals
and Charlee won't ever bark at Santa. So he will come and Charlee will be quiet. It
just happens that way. Besides Charlee knows that Santa brings her a present too, so
if she is bad, then she won't get any presents. She was all smiles. Have a good night and good wishes to all.
