You Name It, card swap

Well, I have finally made a card. It has been so long that I had a hard time trying
to put it together. I used cardstock only to add the colour to my card and with the
addition of crystals in pink and amber and stickles in Platinum, I like it. The stamp is one I purchased from GinaK Designs, and if memory serves me, and that isn't always that reliable, LOL, is may be called Year of the Flowers. I used embossing powder on the rose outline and then coloured the roses with SU markers, and Copic markers. The leaves were done the same way with the exception of the lighter shadowy ones which was SU marker. The theme of this card had to be roses, but not red! So I went for a soft yellow with pale pink highlights. I am happy with my first card in over a year. It is much prettier in person than the photo shows. The platinum stickles around the edges had just enough sparkle. Again, I make my cards
without any phrases, so that it can be multi-purpose. Sometimes I add the appropriate salutation at the time I need it, or write inside the card instead.

It's beautiful, Norma. And I love the color you chose for the roses!
