A New Day

How gorgeous. It's a new dawn, it's a new day. The picture doesn't do justice to the beautiful sunrise this morning. After a month of constant rain, we awoke to sunshine on my shoulders. But it was really cold out there and a few minutes to set
out the water bottles for the water truck was enough for me. Brrrrr.
I got 90% of my Christmas shopping done yesterday. Yay! And the stores were really
quiet. But then we didn't hit them until 4 pm, so we probably just missed the next
wave coming in. Now if I could be so diligent with my Christmas cards, I would be on
top of the world.
Flu shot today. I decided that perhaps I should get one after all, because I am always running on empty with looking after my mother and my various "ailments" put me
in the risk group. Although quite honestly, I think Hubby and I had a mild case of
it last week anyways. All the symptoms, without actually feeling sick, but in a milder form. Aches, pains, headaches, tummy upsets and extreme fatique. I just don't want the full blown version. Except for the doctor today, I haven't anything
else planned that is exciting. So have a nice day wherever you are.
