A Tad Early

I know I am a tad early for Easter, but I saw a card on GinaK's Designs and I fell in love with it. So I have cased her actual design using my own interpretation and in actual fact have used a stamp from her collection called "He is Risen". It was released last year, and if you check out her blogsite you will see that she has just released a new Easter stamp that she used on her version of her card. It was very simple to use with Nestibilities cutting out the tags. Everything is using Vanilla CS, but the dimensions are achieved with the Cuttlebug folders and also the raised dimensions of the copper DP. I used SU Really Rust markers for the cross and the salutation, which is also a stamp from He is Risen. I then placed a single orangey crystal in the center of the cross. I cut my matte in half before embossing and ran each through the Big Shot. Then I added a piece of ribbon to hide the matchup of the two pieces. I love it so much, that I am making several more to send out to family and friends.
