Winter's Eve

I am really out of season with this one, but my ideas come at odd times, so I just go with them.
I really don't take much notice of the time of year or the presentation, as my blog follows my
whims of the moment. I decided to do a brayer card using a ripped template to cover up my
card and on the top and bottom I used SU Not Quite Navy and after I did that and had my white center, I sprayed my brayer with cleaning solution to take off most of the colour and then
repeat sprayed for the residue left behind and rolled it over my card. It gave me a wintery
hazy look. So I used my favourite trees and stamped them with embossing powder in Green.
I darkened the edges with black and added stickles and white dots over the card to indicate frost in the air. Hard to see but each cut-out corner has a black crystal applied. Also, I do not add
salutations until I need the card and sometimes I have a choice of stamps to use that way.

This is just gorgeous, Norma! Great card & we think it's okay to do Christmas/winter cards beginning in July because we send so many! Some of us (present company excluded) start really early!
