Christmas is coming!!

I am busy making my Christmas stash but not for me. I am making my cards
for a craft fair and also for display in a gift shop up North. My sister
has been monitoring them and I have actually managed to sell quite a few.
I embellish my cards but not over excessively in the expense department. I
don't know what others charge for their cards around the country, but I have
found that the market is fickle, so I have geared my price to $2.50 a card
and I can sell them. The minute I try to raise the price, my take is zero.
I use pretty papers and brads and love stickles for flash. Not trying to
toot my own horn, but I received the nicest compliment this week, when someone
said they had seen lots of handmade cards and "I have to say yours are the most
beautiful of them all". I did feel proud and validated with that statement.

Here is one I made this week for the show.
Materials: StampinUp cardstock
Papers: DCWV Christmas stack
Embellishments: Stickles
No stamping on this one.
The card was cut a little too small, so I attached a backplate of red cardstock.

Wow... $2.50 barely covers your costs. A comment like that would be validating indeed.

Wow!! Norma...this card is Beautiful!! I can certainly see why they are selling so well. I love the glitter and your design. I know what you mean about not getting your money back for alot of embellishment...but golly..with cards like this...you don't need more. Good luck with your show!!
