Haida Gwaii

Another in the card swap series. This one reminded me of the Haida nation on the islands off BC's coastline. The Haida people wear ceremonial robes in black and red and designs are created on them in white buttons. I printed off two totem poles, but their colours were so vibrant that they lost the stamps, and the stamps are my focal point. So I reverted to printing them in black and white. Haida Gwaii, pronounced Hida G-why, means Islands of the People. Hope you like my imagery. It was a fun card to make.
