Let there be peace....


Well, Christmas Day is almost over and it was a wonderful, serene, peaceful day
watching the grandchildren enjoying their gifts. Regardless of all the turmoil around me, it couldn't have been a better day for the family. S-I-L went out
once again to plow the driveway and actually got our driveway down to blacktop.
Of course you can't see the house from the street with the snow mounds created
by the snowblower and all our Christmas lights have been buried and not expected
to see daylight for several days. The photo above is taken from the front porch
of the house and up the road. That's the van buried in the front of the photo.
Isn't that ridiculous. Or at least for us it is. I hope this is the end of it.
It is lovely to have a white Christmas but I like the bare roads.
