I just purchased my favourite Santa stamp and have been playing in my craft room with colour
and embellishments. I want to find a "flat" card to use for my Christmas mailers, as the postage
is unreal for anything with raised embellies. From ridiculous to outrageous. I used embossing
powder on my blue Santa, but I don't like it because it makes his face too heavy and dark. I much prefer the stamped and inked version. On my burgundy, white and my only piece of
Sahara Sand stock, I like the burgundy ink, and the pink cheek colour works with this colour
and doesn't change. Now my black, vanilla and river rock card is pretty to see but the cheek
colour darkened and I couldn't find a happy medium without having it change on me.
I think my blue card looks more like King Neptune than Santa. My choices are the burgundy,
or the black and vanilla.

I agree with you, I like the burgundy one (middle) best. Interesting they all take such a different look.
Great stamp.
I like the burgundy one best, but they are all nice!
