Pound for Pound

Well, my card says it all doesn't it? I am working on losing some weight, and the 11 lbs I have

lost to date is nothing to sneeze at and I entered this month all gung ho and somewhere the

gung left me and all I can say is "Ho!" I just received this stamp from a fellow "loser" and

thought it was so cute and very appropriate to my contribution to myself this month. LOL.

I am going put this on my fridge this coming month to motivate me to think. Isn't she adorable though.

Well, in my previous post, I was asked what did I decide to do with my day. So I'll tell you.

It was a gorgeous sunny pre-winter (cold) day, and hubby and I took a short drive where we

can see the moutain range around us. There is definitely a winter's view with snow dusting the

mountain tops. Then we did some Christmas shopping, went out for lunch, (the reason I am not

losing weight this month, ha,ha) and actually did pick up a few groceries in the making. Oh, and

I didn't totally forget about the house, I did a load of laundery. So I think I touched on almost all

the bases.

Hubby was supposed to be in hospital this morning for an administering of a cortizone shot in

his back, but it was cancelled last night because of an emergency heart patient, so we must go

in on Monday now. Good thing anyway, we have to get up at 5 am to be on the road in the

morning traffic run. And I am tired this morning, so I wouldn't have enjoyed the ride.

Hope you all have a great weekend. Except for babysitting my granddaughters on Saturday

night, while mum and dad have a "date-night", that's all we have on the agenda. Date-night?

What's that? We haven't had one of those for eons.
