Nana, I made a goal for you!

These are the words my four year old (5 on Nov.29) grand-daughter shouted out to me as she
walked into the house after her soccer game. She told me a couple of days ago that she was going to make a goal for me. But then she said, "But Nana, I put it in the wrong goal". LOL Never mind Teagan, you scored a goal and I am very proud of you. Thank you, sweetie.

- Well I attended a StampinUp workshop this afternoon and made multiples of five Christmas
cards but two of them are my favourites. Not having my catalogue, I can't tell you which stamps are what, but everything is SU. My cardinal is watercoloured and I just realised that I forgot to
colour his beak before I took the picture. As for my tree card, I masked the bottom of the card
with a cutout and brayered the top half of the card. Just the way I brayered it created streaks
around the moon, making it look like a frosty night and the streaks look like a frosty forest.

I love this little card, although I think my trees could have been lined up a little better. They
look like little tin soldiers in a row. Isn't the ribbon pretty? It's the 5/8" grosgrain ribbon in
Real Red.
So that's it for today's cards. How are your cards coming along? Most of my mailing is out of town, overseas and cross-border, so I have to have cards done by the 15th or so to
get them out there in the mails. That's why you are seeing Christmas cards so early.

The cardinal reminds me of my time living in Virginia in the 70's. Wonderful memories.
Take a look at my Blog, you've been tagged!
