I have got on an autumn kick with my cards and love the different things you can do with
leaf stamps, sissix cut-outs, markers and stickers. This card was inspired by one made by
Jill McNab, a Canadian stamper here on the BC coast. I cased the card idea, changing up
my positioning of the coloured panels and I used Cuttlebugs new folder Forest Branches.
The leaves are open copper stickers placed on vellum. I coloured the leaves from behind with
Copic markers, adding a red crystal on the maple leaf as my bright spot. The coloured panels are SU pumpkin and mustard (oh where is my book when I need it for the proper names).
I also cut out a piece of leaf paper and placed it behind the vellum for a subdued vision. I made
this in poor lighting and thought I had used chocolate as the base card only to discover that I
had used burgundy. But I like it. Someone sent me some beautiful leaf stamps to use, so I
am going to be leaf happy for a few days, but no worry, I won't post more leaves for you.
Two entries are enough.
