Butterfly Kisses

On this beautiful Sunday afternoon, we are celebrating our daughters birthday.
Who would have thought at this time all those years ago, when I was in labour
and trying to get over a rush hour bridge at 2 pm, and had my precious little
baby in the next four hours, that we would be living in the same household with
two more little girls and an aging mother. Good thing we can't predict the future.
We might just start running then. But Son-in-law mowed the grass this morning in
preparation for their guests and kids to play in the garden. We couldn't spend it
in a better way. I made her this card this morning. I had some beautiful sparkle
paper by Best Creations that I thought would make a pretty BG. And I made a raised
and coloured butterfly from heavy weight velum. I haven't used this technique for
some time and I love it. Inside the card I made a pocket to hold a $gift, as I am
not able to go shopping right now, but then she can choose something she really wants
or likes. Got to get moving here and get cleaned up. Have a wonderful day and week
ahead.
