Mod Hatter

Well, my daughter has just left for the market to get some staple items into the house, because they predict that we will have four days of snow. Which for this
area is unreal. We are preparing ourselves for the worse, being stranded in our
house in the middle of the city!!! Isn't that ridiculous? I think after this weird
winter, they are going to have to think again on what equipment we will need to
combat the elements. Global warming has upset the entire world and it is evident in
the catastrophies we have seen on the nightly news. The only ones who will enjoy the
snow are the kids. No school and a chance to use their new sleds they got for Christmas. Now isn't that optimism on their parents part?
Meanwhile, I sit in my craft room and let the world go by, drowning myself in paper and glue and sparkles and ribbon.
This card is one I made up yesterday, using a new stamp I got, called Mod Hatter from
Stampendous. I didn't do a lot to her other than use a copic pen on her hat and lips. I added a sparkle to her hat and a little glitzy do-dad around her neck. The
ribbon was an afterthought, as I thought it needed more colour. On her hat and along
the bottom edge, I dry embossed dots, using the Crop-a-dile. How easy is that.
The paper is unknown, but the stock is SU black and Apricot appeal.
