Fun weekend

Well, I spent the laziest homebody weekend, but the greatest fun scrapping and

attending demos. On Saturday, I spent time learning how to use the Score Pal and participating in some prototype take-homes. That has got to be one of the greatest tools ever. It's capabilities are unlimited, and it is all measured out for accuracy.
If you have the chance to buy one, go for it.
And on Sunday, I spent the day making cards as per the online event found on Scrap Shotz.com. Wow, there are some talented ladies out there. It sure makes me strive to reach the next step in creativity. Here are
the cards I presented during the day:
Number 1: represents a "CARIBBEAN CHRISTMAS" using summer colours palette. No red or green allowed. I used A.muse Bethlehem stamp for my image. The blue background denotes the birth of the boychild that night.
Number 2: 'FEELIN' CRABBY?" is a Triangle card with a matching insert like that of the center
blue scalloped piece. The paper is K&Co, the stamp SU Fishy Friends. All tied with a blue shimmery ribbon.
Number 3: "COUNTRY DELIGHT" was to follow a sketch and fill in your design. I did this with creamy caramel, brown prima, and bravo burgundy for the belly band and the brackets around "delight". The papers are unknowns but co-ordinating with the rest of the card.
This was a fun day, a learning day and one that I will enter into again.
P.S. I didn't win as it was a random draw, but the anticipation and fun of being in the event was super.

The crop was so much fun wasn't it!! I only got 4 done myself but with the garage sale on Saturday, that was enough. Great cards Norma. Can't wait to see them in person.

Glad you had a good time.
