My husband and I just had the biggest laugh thanks to our 3 year old granddaughter.
I dropped a loonie on the floor last night and didn't pick it up. But she found it and said,
"Look, Nana I found a big penny". So after some words back and forth, I generously
took the "big penny" back and gave her a quarter to put in her piggy bank. She hesitated
and held out the quarter and said, "But Nana this is tiny than the big penny!" My
husband howled at that and I pulled one of those "oh, great, faces", and said "Alright, give
me the little one back and you can have the big penny, okay?" She just beamed. Yup,
she's the right gender alright.
