This card was an experiment which I am holding my reservations about. But it is a
card for a special little girl in my life. My grand-daughter. She will be nine next
week. I can't believe the years have flown by so fast. I was there when she was born and the lady doctor had me come right up front and welcome her into this world.
It was the most exciting time of my life. She was especially special because one year before her, we had lost her full term baby brother, so with the excitement and anticipation was a little fear and dread. But here she is. I purposely filtered her photo but her pretty face still shines through. She loves shiny headbands and
the day after her birthday, her mum is taking her to get her ears pierced. So I gave
her a little stud earring. I am a little disappointed though, because whenever I try to use bashful blue or baby blue, it always comes across with a green tint, either through the camera or in the Photoshop program and it spoils the visual context of the card. It is much prettier in the real world.
