Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to Canada and to anyone else who may be celebrating this holiday weekend. I hadn't given it any thought, in all honesty. That's what being retired does for
you. One day is the same as the next, unless you have a doctor's appointment in place.

We are expecting a lovely day today, although it is still dark out at the moment and most people are still in bed sleeping. Our plans for the day, to buy my DH a new lazyboy chair.
His gave up the ghost this week and the footrest is in a permanant open position. It makes for a very difficult time getting in and out of it.
Well, last night I decided to go into my craft room and see what I could come up with in some creation. I received a swap kit recently, so I sat looking at the bits and pieces in it and this is the result. Everything came with the kit with supplies. I unfortunately do not know whose brands they are, so you will have to look at the prettyness of the papers and just enjoy like I did. I used my nestabilities and cut out the scalloped ovals making frames for my flowers. The BP was mounted on white CS which I then mounted on Tempting Turquoise CS. Along the ribbon's edge I embossed a scallop, using my cuttlebug edges folder. And there you have it. Hope your weekend is grand. Til next time.
